Where would we be in music today without the 808 machine? The iconic instrument has been quintessential in nearly all music landscapes, and with this documentary, it explores the importance of the Roland machine.

Featuring stories from Questlove, Diplo, A-Trak, Tiga, Fatboy Slim, Afrika Bambaata, A Guy Called Gerald, and voiceover from Zane Lowe, this is not a documentary to miss.

On the film, Lowe says-

    "I love this film. The 808 has left an impactful mark on my life. It's been the driving force for so many of my favorite records, and I jumped at the chance to be involved. I wanted to learn more about how this incredible drum machine came to exist, and it’s been exciting to hear other people’s stories and what it means to them. It’s the magic ingredient.”

The documentary will be available December 9th, nd the soundtrack will be available November 25th.
