The Canadian breakout star - who hit number one in the UK earlier this year with 'Hideaway' - said she was surprised about the songs Rihanna decided to record.

'So far people have been recording a lot of the music,' Kiesza told backstage at Wireless Festival this weekend.

'Rihanna recorded two or three of my songs. Whether they will end up on the album, I don't know.'

Kiesza explained that she doesn't write songs tailored to a specific artist, but rather lets them select the tracks they like from her collection.
