Ariana Grande, 22, is a versatile artist but we’ve never seen anything like this from her before. The “One Last Time” singer is working with world famous opera singer Andrea Bocelli, 57, on a new song and it’s blowing us away. It’s been a turbulent few months for the former Disney star but we are loving this new musical direction. Listen to the track below!
The name of the song is “E Più Ti Penso” and we have never heard Ariana sound better. The Italian aria is from the movie Once Upon A Time In America, a 1984 gangster movie starringRobert DeNiro. They lyrics are in Italian, but they tell the story of two lovers who are separated by a great distance and long for each other. Though Ariana is over thirty years younger than her song partner, they’re voices meld together flawlessly. The song is truly beautiful and we can not stop playing it.
Bocelli isn’t the only music legend that Ariana is collaborating with. The “Problems” singer teamed up with Chris Martin, 38, and Coldplay on Sept. 26 to sing “Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart” at theGlobal Citizen Festival in Central Park in New York City. Chris and Ariana’s voices mesh so well together. For this version of the song, Ariana and Chris opted for an acoustic version and it sounded great! We are loving watching Ariana team up with the world’s best singers, regardless of genre.
