Mark Knopfler unveils new song 'Beryl'

The former Dire Straits frontman posted the track – which has been inspired by British novelist Beryl Bainbridge – via his official Twitter account. 'Beryl' will feature on Knopfler's forthcoming eighth studio album 'Tracker', which is due to be released on March 16.
'The album title 'Tracker' arrived out of me trying to find my way over the decades,” said Knopfler in a statement. 'Out of me tracking time – looking at people, places and things from my past, and out of the process of tracking as in recording tracks in the studio.'
