She's making a comeback with her first solo single in over a year, Poison. And Rita Ora's newly-released music video doesn't disappoint, with the platinum blonde pop princess modelling a series of sexy ensembles as she belts her way through the catchy power ballad.

The song, widely rumoured to be written with her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris in mind, has been given a video with a strong narrative about jealousy and controlling relationships.

In the video, Rita is introduced to the glamour and glitz of showbiz by a smarmy-looking photographer who takes an interest in her. The 24-year-old beauty develops a taste for the lifestyle of the rich and famous, taking part in numerous photoshoots with her snapper friend, who becomes her constant companion on the party circuit. Following a glamorous Hollywood makeover, Rita enjoys a brief yet steamy dalliance with a handsome male model with a man-bun.

She told the Daily Star: 'Poison was a long time coming for me, being a 24-year-old girl and it's about how I envisage love and a time in my life when it was poisonous.

'It's a really honest song for me as ... I wanted to say things that actually happened to me.'  

Poison is released on June 28, while Rita's long-awaited second album, the follow-up to 2012's Ora, is expected to drop later this year.
