Tonight Primordial and Upyr in Sofia

The newly opened Club Live & Loud (Sofia, 8, Positano Street) begins the year with a big, cult name!

The Irish Black/Celtic metal band Primordial will play in Sofia in 2016!

Thirteen years after their first visit in Bulgaria, Primordial return for a concert in the beginning of 2016. Up to now the boys have participated in every festival possible in Europe, their touring has reached places they have never been before. They have released albums that have received only high ratings and you can be sure they have already guaranteed the eternity of the name Primordial.

At the time of their first visit to Sofia in 2003, they were an underground band, which even at that time was well-known, with its highly distinguished and acute identity and musicians for whom the stage was a sacred place, the stage was everything. It stays so to this day for each of them. The lineup of Primordial has remained unchanged: Alan Averill 'Nemtheanga' - vocals, Ciáran MacUilliam - guitar, Micheál Ó Floinn - guitar, Pól MacAmhlaigh - bass, Simon Ó Laoghaire - drums. Today, however, the popularity of the band is much greater and their discography is more extensive. During their first show in Bulgaria in 2003 and with the presentation of the cult album Storm Before Calm (Hammerheart, 2002) they established a circle of fans who will entail even after a hundred years. The boys do not hide that they have always wanted to return to Bulgaria, where the experience was special to them. They say they are eager to meet with old friends and fans and to get acquainted with those that discovered the band at a later stage.

At their concert in Sofia, which will be held on January 29th at Club Live & Loud the band will present their latest album Where Greater Men Have Fallen (Metal Blade Records, 2014), and they will also perform classics from their older releases.
