Garbage has posted a new message at its website saying, 'Quiet Please: Recording in Progress,” along with a brief snippet of new music.

Although the song doesn’t feature any vocals from frontwoman Shirley Manson, the band also just posted a new group photo, indicating that the new full-length that drummer and producer Butch Vig told NME about last year may finally be in the works.

Garbage's sixth studio effort will follow up 2012's Not Your Kind Of People, which ended a seven-year hiatus for the group.
